The primary objective of the new design was to create a better user experience, enticing visitors to book luxury vacation rentals via the website rather than other booking platforms like Airbnb. Design considerations included improved brand alignment, greater functionality, mobile responsiveness and page-load performance.
Development commenced with bringing the new design to life in Webflow. We also looked at ways to automate internal processes, allowing the Whitsunday Vacations team to focus more on their guests. Integration with property management software and other website-related workflow enhancements helped achieve this goal.
BullShark Creative conducted search engine optimizations, competitor analysis and a keyword strategy before reviewing the existing website content, metadata and schemas. Building the website in Webflow avoided high quantities of unnecessary code commonly found in WordPress themes and plugins.
